Genelux Announces Publication of a Deep and Durable Response in a Platinum-relapsed Small Cell Lung Cancer Patient Following Systemically Delivered Olvi-Vec-Primed Immunochemotherapy
A platinum‑relapsed SCLC patient achieved 16.7 months progression‑free survival following Olvi‑Vec and platinum rechallenge, exceeding the PFS achieved following platinum‑based first‑line therapy.
A platinum‑relapsed small‑cell lung cancer (SCLC) patient achieved 16.7 months progression‑free survival (PFS) following a single cycle of systemically administered Olvi‑Vec followed by eight cycles of platinum and etoposide rechallenge, with a 84.6 % reduction in target lesion size and a duration of response (DOR) of 14.3 months.
This case demonstrates that systemically delivered Olvi‑Vec can potentiate platinum rechallenge in refractory SCLC, achieving durable disease control beyond what is typically observed with standard rechallenge regimens.
