Combining HAIP chemotherapy with floxuridine and systemic gemcitabine plus cisplatin in patients with unresectable liver‑confined intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma had a 1‑ and 3‑year overall survival superior to gemcitabine plus cisplatin alone in historical cohorts.
