EUROPAC Researching Hereditary Pancreatic Diseases

Rákkutatás · Pancreatic cancer

EUROPAC is a research study aiming to understand inherited conditions of the pancreas and to provide risk‑stratified surveillance for individuals at high risk of developing pancreatic cancer.

The European Registry of Familial Pancreatic Cancer and Hereditary Pancreatitis (EUROPAC) is a multicenter study recruiting families with a history of pancreatic cancer or hereditary pancreatitis to assess genetic risk and implement early screening protocols.

Early identification and surveillance of high‑risk individuals can lead to timely detection of pancreatic cancer, improving outcomes in a disease with traditionally poor prognosis.
