Phase 3 Trial of Optune, Temozolomide, and Pembrolizumab in Newly Diagnosed Glioblastoma

A randomized, double‑blind, place‑bo‑controlled Phase 3 study is assessing the efficacy and safety of Optune, maintenance temozolomide, and pembrolizumab versus Optune plus temozolomide with placebo in adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma after surgery and radiotherapy.
Incorporating the anti‑PD‑1 agent pembrolizumab into the standard glioblastoma treatment regimen may provide a new therapeutic strategy to improve patient survival outcomes.
