Leiomyosarcoma Research, Support & Advocacy | LMSDR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting patients, caregivers, and researchers working on treatments for leiomyosarcoma. The organization, established in 2006, offers educational conferences, patient education, support groups, advocacy campaigns, and collaborative research grants. It also maintains a tissue and data collection program and an independent Leiomyosarcoma Patient Registry to aid clinical research.
Academic conference attendance enhances knowledge sharing, fosters multidisciplinary collaboration, and accelerates the translation of research findings into clinical practice.
