We find more than 80 targets to be associated with neuroblastoma risk and differentiation signatures.

Integrative discovery of treatments for high-risk neuroblastoma has identified more than 80 targets that are associated with neuroblastoma risk and differentiation signatures. By combining predictive data mining with experimental evaluation in patient‑derived xenograft cells, the proposed algorithm, TargetTranslator, integrates data from tumour biobanks, pharmacological databases, and cellular networks to predict how targeted interventions affect mRNA signatures associated with high patient risk or disease processes. The study demonstrates that targeting MAPK8 and CNR2 can suppress tumour growth in zebrafish and mouse xenograft models of high‑risk neuroblastoma.

This claim demonstrates that data‑driven integrative analysis can uncover novel therapeutic targets for high‑risk neuroblastoma, a paediatric cancer with limited effective treatment options.
