Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the thymus: a case report and literature review
A 63-year-old asymptomatic male patient was referred after an anterior mediastinal mass was incidentally detected during a routine health screening.
This case demonstrates that primary adenoid cystic carcinoma of the thymus can present as a small, early‑stage tumor and can be successfully managed with complete minimally invasive resection, highlighting the importance of early detection and the feasibility of a single‑port subxiphoid thoracoscopic approach.
