DCEG researchers conduct studies on cancers of the endometrium and uterus, known as endometrial and uterine cancer.

The Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Genetics (DCEG) at the National Cancer Institute conducts various studies on endometrial and uterine cancers, including screening feasibility, risk factor assessment, bone density and cancer risk, self‑sampling methods, biomarker discovery, infertility treatment outcomes, inherited variation, hormone metabolism, and progression of endometrial hyperplasia. These studies involve multicenter collaborations, retrospective cohorts, nested case‑control designs, and prospective cohorts to investigate disease etiology, detection, and progression.

These studies aim to improve early detection, understand risk factors, and identify biomarkers for endometrial and uterine cancers.
