Clinical Trials – GIST Cancer UK
The Cogent‑PEAK study is a phase‑3 randomized, open‑label, multicentre trial comparing CGT9486 + Sunitinib versus Sunitinib in patients with locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors.
The site lists ongoing clinical trials for patients with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST), including the Cogent‑PEAK study comparing CGT9486 + Sunitinib with Sunitinib, the INSIGHT trial testing Ripretinib versus Sunitinib in advanced GIST with KIT exon 11 mutations that have previously been treated with Imatinib, and the StrateGIST‑3 study evaluating the safety and efficacy of IDRX‑42 (GSK6042981) versus sunitinib in GIST patients previously exposed to imatinib.
This trial addresses the need for more effective treatment options for GIST patients who have exhausted standard therapies, potentially offering improved survival and quality of life.
