Researchers Develop Antibody to Fight Colorectal Cancer

Rákkutatás · Colorectal cancer

An engineered anti‑DKK2 antibody suppresses tumor growth in colorectal cancer models by restoring immune function.

Yale researchers engineered an anti‑DKK2 antibody that blocks tumor growth in colorectal cancer models by inhibiting DKK2, a Wnt pathway antagonist, thereby restoring immune responses and enhancing PD‑1 blockade effectiveness.

Targeting DKK2 could overcome resistance to existing immunotherapies, providing a novel therapeutic option for colorectal cancer patients and potentially other resistant cancers.
