The Paul Nghiem Laboratory conducts basic and translational research on Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC), developing immunotherapies, biomarker tests, and clinical trials to improve patient outcomes.
Advancing understanding and treatment of MCC, a rare but deadly skin cancer, can reduce mortality, improve survival rates, and guide clinical decision‐making for patients worldwide.
