New NRG Oncology Trial for High-Risk Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer Launching Soon!
NRG-GY037 is a Phase III clinical trial evaluating induction pembrolizumab and chemotherapy followed by chemoradiation and pembrolizumab versus chemoradiation with pembrolizumab for high‑risk locally advanced cervical cancer.
NRG‑GY037 is a pivotal Phase III randomized trial designed to assess whether induction therapy with pembrolizumab plus carboplatin/paclitaxel, followed by chemoradiation and pembrolizumab, improves progression‑free and overall survival compared with standard chemoradiation and maintenance pembrolizumab in patients with high‑risk, locally advanced cervical cancer.
If successful, this study could redefine first‑line therapy for high‑risk locally advanced cervical cancer, potentially improving survival outcomes by combining induction immunotherapy and chemotherapy with standard chemoradiation.
