Mantle‑Cell Lymphoma (MCL)

Rákkutatás · Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

Mantle‑Cell Lymphoma (MCL) is a subtype of B‑cell non‑Hodgkin lymphoma that frequently harbours the t(11;14) translocation, leading to overexpression of CYCLIN D1 and BCL‑1.

Mantle‑Cell Lymphoma is a form of non‑Hodgkin lymphoma with a diffuse pattern of small and medium lymphocytes and small cleaved cells. The disease accounts for ~5% of adult non‑Hodgkin lymphomas and is most often driven by a t(11;14) translocation that causes over‑expression of CYCLIN D1 (BCL‑1).

Understanding the genetic drivers and therapeutic options for MCL guides prognostication, treatment selection, and the development of targeted therapies.
