The study shows that a CRISPR/Cas9 system driven by a tumor‑specific GGAA promoter can selectively inactivate the EWSR1::FLI1 oncogenic fusion and halt the growth of Ewing sarcoma cells, offering a potential gene‑editing therapeutic approach for this aggressive cancer.
