Tislelizumab Improves OS Compared With Chemo in Advanced Unresectable or Metastatic ESCC

Rákkutatás · NSCLC

In patients with advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, treatment with the anti‑PD‑1 antibody tislelizumab significantly improves overall survival compared with investigator‑chosen chemotherapy

The phase 3 RATIONALE 302 trial demonstrated that compared to chemotherapy, tislelizumab showed a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival in the intention‑to‑treat population of patients with advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).

Esophageal cancer has a high mortality rate and limited treatment options; a therapy that improves overall survival represents a major advance in patient care.
