Efficacy and safety of anti‑PD‑1/PD‑L1 antibodies in patients with relapsed refractory diffuse large B‑cell lymphoma: A meta‑analysis
PD‑1/PD‑L1 inhibitors demonstrated suboptimal therapeutic efficacy in the selected trials for R/R DLBCL.
A meta‑analysis of 8 clinical studies (total 576 patients) evaluated the safety and efficacy of PD‑1/PD‑L1 inhibitors in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B‑cell lymphoma. The pooled ORR was 0.40, CRR 0.21, 1‑year PFS 0.33, 1‑year OS 0.67, and grade‑3 adverse events 0.33, indicating modest clinical benefit and acceptable safety. Combination with CAR‑T therapy showed promising outcomes.
Relapsed or refractory diffuse large B‑cell lymphoma has poor prognosis with conventional therapies; identifying the effectiveness and safety of checkpoint blockade provides critical evidence for future therapeutic strategies.
