Pediatric Acute Leukemia (PedAL) Screening Trial - Developing New Therapies for Relapsed Leukemias
This study aims to use clinical and biological characteristics of acute leukemias to screen for patient eligibility for available pediatric leukemia sub‑trials.
The Pediatric Acute Leukemia (PedAL) Screening Trial is a phase I/II interventional study recruiting children and young adults up to 22 years old with relapsed or refractory acute leukemias to collect bone‑marrow and blood samples for biomarker-driven screening into available sub‑trials and to build a longitudinal registry and biobank.
Identifying optimal therapeutic options for children with relapsed leukemia could improve survival and reduce treatment toxicity, particularly for those with difficult‑to‑treat subtypes.
