GICPIdb: an archival repository of multimodal data focusing on pathological images for gastrointestinal cancers
We constructed the Gastrointestinal Cancer Pathological Image Archive (GICPIdb, gicpidb.shubuzuo.top), a dedicated database and web platform covering seven major GI cancer types.
The Gastrointestinal Cancer Pathological Image Archive (GICPIdb) is a curated, multimodal database that aggregates high‑quality hematoxylin‑and‑eosin whole‑slide images, clinical data, and molecular profiling for seven major gastrointestinal cancer types. The platform provides standardized image annotation, automated quality control, web‑based annotation tools, and AI prediction modules for key biomarkers such as microsatellite instability (MSI) and tumor mutational burden (TMB).
By providing a large, uniformly processed, and pathologist‑annotated image resource linked to molecular and prognostic data, GICPIdb addresses the current scarcity of publicly available, high‑resolution gastrointestinal pathology datasets and facilitates the development and validation of deep‑learning models across diverse patient populations.
