IMPACT-AML builds a pioneering research framework for Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia, unifying patients, clinicians, and researchers across Europe and beyond.

IMPACT-AML is an EU-backed collaborative framework for patients with relapsed or refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (R/R AML). It connects haematology centres, clinicians, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies across Europe to collect real‑world data via the STREAM platform, identify patients for current and future clinical trials, and harmonise biobanking and data standards. Through these efforts the consortium aims to improve access to innovative therapies, generate robust clinical evidence, and shape patient‑centred treatment strategies for R/R AML.

Acute myeloid leukemia that has relapsed after remission or is refractory to initial treatment presents a high unmet need due to limited effective therapies, high mortality, and lack of standardised care pathways. IMPACT‑AML addresses these gaps by creating a data‑driven, collaborative network that can accelerate the development and equitable access of novel treatments.
